Job Responsibilities

GCC Market Entry (Bahrain)

1. Lead government affairs groundwork for new country launches (urgent)

2. Handle entity setup, operating licenses, and regulatory approvals in new markets

3. Establish local government relationships from scratch

Special Category Licensing

1. Secure multipal categories operating licenses and regulatory approvals

2. Support private label product registration and compliance

3.Navigate certification requirements for imported goods across GCC markets

Supply Chain & Import Compliance

1. Solve cross-border import challenges for global sourcing (China, Europe, India, etc.)

2. Handle product certifications, import permits, and customs regulatory issues

3. Ensure smooth product flow from international origins

Qualifications

1. 5+ years in government affairs / regulatory / public policy roles in Bahrain

2. Deep understanding of targeted countgry and regulatory landscape

3. Proven track record of securing licenses, permits, and regulatory approvals

4. Strong network within Bahrain government bodies and regulatory agencies

5. Experience in e-commerce, retail, or logistics industry preferred

6. Fluent in Arabic and English

7. Grew up and based in Bahrain; willing to travel across Saudi and GCC
