Maintenance Supervisor – Retail Stores and Offices

Job description

Oversee the maintenance and repair of retail stores, offices, warehouses, and other company facilities.Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance issues and ensure facilities are in good condition.Coordinate electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, lighting, civil works, and general building repairs.Implement preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of repair works.Supervise maintenance technicians and coordinate with external contractors and service providers.Handle urgent maintenance issues while minimizing disruption to store and office operations.Monitor maintenance costs and coordinate the procurement of materials, tools, and spare parts.Ensure compliance with applicable UAE safety requirements and building maintenance standards.Maintain records of maintenance activities, expenses, service contracts, and repair schedules.Coordinate with store managers, office administration, landlords, and building management as required. Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance or facilities management.Experience handling maintenance for retail stores, offices, or commercial buildings.Good knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.Experience supervising technicians and coordinating external contractors.Good organizational, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.
