Position Overview

The Parts Manager oversees the inventory, procurement, and distribution of parts within an organization. This role ensures that the right parts are available at the right time, manages vendor relationships, and supports service and repair teams with efficient parts supply.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage daily operations of the parts department, including ordering, stocking, and distribution.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and implement effective stock control measures.
• Ensure timely availability of parts to support service and repair operations.
• Monitor parts usage and forecast demand to optimize inventory levels.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate parts department staff.
• Implement and enforce safety and compliance standards.
• Prepare reports on inventory, sales, and departmental performance.
• Collaborate with service and sales teams to improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in parts management, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of automotive, mechanical, or industrial parts (depending on industry).
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office tools.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
