Site Supervisor – Painting & Gypsum

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and supervise daily on-site painting and gypsum/drywall installation operations.

• Read and interpret site layouts, architectural plans, and approved technical drawings.

• Coordinate with main contractors, interior designers, and project managers to maintain project schedules.

• Inspect work quality at each stage (framing, board installation, taping, jointing, priming, and final painting) to ensure high standards.

• Monitor material usage on-site, track inventory, and minimize waste of paints, drywall boards, and accessories.

• Assign daily tasks to site workers and painters, ensuring productivity and compliance with safety standards.

• Identify on-site technical issues or drawing discrepancies early and report them to management.

• Ensure all completed painting and gypsum works meet client specifications before final handover.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor specializing in painting, gypsum, drywall, or interior fit-outs.

• Strong knowledge of paint types, gypsum board systems, surface preparation techniques, and finishing standards.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior site drawings accurately.

• Strong leadership, site management, and communication skills.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) and messaging apps for daily site reporting.

• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
