About the Role Our client, a diversified business group with substantial operations across the GCC region , is seeking a highly competent and adaptable Legal Advisor to join their in-house legal team. This role is based in their corporate headquarters in Busaiteen, Muharraq Governorate, Bahrain . The Legal Advisor will be responsible for providing broad legal support across corporate governance, commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, and general legal matters. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal solutions. This is a key position within the organization, offering significant exposure to various business units. Key Responsibilities Advise on corporate governance matters, including board resolutions, shareholder agreements, and company formation/restructuring. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, such as joint venture agreements, service contracts, and distribution agreements. Ensure compliance with corporate laws and regulations in Bahrain and other relevant jurisdictions. Support mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate finance transactions. Provide legal guidance on employment law matters and human resources issues. Manage and oversee litigation and dispute resolution processes, working with external counsel. Conduct legal research and provide timely legal opinions on various business issues. Assist in developing and implementing internal legal policies and procedures. Requirements Law degree (LLB or equivalent) from a reputable university. Admitted to practice law in Bahrain or a recognized common law jurisdiction. Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house experience. Strong background in corporate law and commercial contract negotiation. Familiarity with regulatory environments in the GCC region is highly desirable. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure. Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is a significant advantage.
